Gualtallary, Tupungato, Uco Valley, Mendoza. Altitude: 1400 mt. Tropical and expressive, the nose dominated by nectarines. There’s a fine line of bright acidity owing to the absence of malolactic. Concrete tanks dominant with a small amount of oak used. This is ‘oak light’ in style, Chablis inspired. The palate is lean and chalky with a mineral edge, behind that a touch of warmth.
