Zuccardi Valle de Uco

Zuccardi is a prestigious family-owned winery located in the heart of the Uco Valley, Mendoza, Argentina. Established in 1963 by engineer Alberto Zuccardi, the winery has gained international acclaim for its innovative winemaking techniques and dedication to expressing the unique terroir of Argentina. Vineyard located in the river Las Tunas alluvial fan is characterized by an extreme, cold and dry climate with large temperature ranges. Alluvial, with grains of gravel covered with calcium carbonate at a shallow depth, caliche and calcareous sands. Elevation 1400 mt. Intense and lively red purple color. Intense red ripe fruit aromas such as prunes and cherries with black pepper and tobacco. Can also detect chocolate, cherry liqueur and spicy notes. Soft and velvety entry, firm tannins with lovely juicy finish.

Alluvial, with gravel covered with calcium carbonate at a shallow depth, caliche and calcareous sands. El Peral, Tupungato, Uco Valley, Mendoza. Altitude: 1200 mt. Gualtallary, Tupungato, Uco Valley, Mendoza. Altitude: 1400 mt. Tropical and expressive, the nose dominated by nectarines. There’s a fine line of bright acidity owing to the absence of malolactic. Concrete tanks dominant with a small amount of oak used. This is ‘oak light’ in style, Chablis inspired. The palate is lean and chalky with a mineral edge, behind that a touch of warmth.

Vineyard entirely irrigated with water from Uco canal, located in the south end of the property. Meltwater from the Andes. Alluvial, with layers of gravel covered with calcium carbonate at average depth (average 60 cm/ 1.96 ft), very heterogeneous. La Consulta, Uco Valley, Mendoza. Altitude: 1100 mt. Gualtallary, Uco Valley, Mendoza. Altitude: 1250 mt. Selection of bunches. Tanks filled by gravity. Fermented with indigenous yeast with a soft extraction by delestage and pigeage. Skin maceration after fermentation for 25 days. Malolactic fermentation and oak aging. Intense purple. Intensely aromatic with notes of ripe red and black fruits such as blueberries and cassis. The barrel aging adds a spicy intense and very complex. Mouth with very good body, firm ripe tannins. Long finish.

Concreto Malbec

Vineyard located Finca Piedra Infinita, Paraje Altamira, Valle de Uco, Mendoza 3608 feet above sea level. Top soil, very rocky from 20 cm – 0,65 feet depth , with large deposits of calcareous material.Fermentation in concrete vats without epoxi, with indigenous yeast, maceration for 20 days. Malolatic fermentation and aging in concrete vats. Half of the wine is fermented with whole cluster.Red color with violet hues. It expresses a great herbal character with notes of red fruits. In the mouth is long and with a distinctive mineral texture. A wine of great structure and acidity.
